1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They allow a site to remember information about your visit, such as your preferences. "Local storage" is a similar mechanism that stores data directly in your browser without using HTTP cookies. We use both of these technologies sparingly.
2. What we store
Mapleentertain is intentionally lightweight. We use only first-party browser storage, and we do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. Specifically, we store the following on your device:
2.1 Strictly necessary
news_ageVerified— records that you confirmed you are 18 or older, so we don't show the age-gate again.news_cookieChoice— records whether you accepted or declined the cookie banner, so we don't show it again.
2.2 Functional (game progress)
news_game_blackjack— virtual coin balance, wins, losses and best streak for Blackjack.news_game_dice— same data for Dice Roll.news_game_keno— same data for Keno.news_game_hilo— same data for Hi-Lo Cards.
All of this data lives on your device only. It is not transmitted to our servers, advertising networks, or any third party.
2.3 What we don't use
- No analytics cookies (no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel).
- No advertising cookies.
- No cross-site tracking.
- No fingerprinting.
3. Your consent
On your first visit, after you confirm your age, we show a short banner asking whether you accept all cookies (i.e. functional game progress) or decline. Strictly necessary storage (the age-gate flag itself) is always set, because without it the site cannot function for adult users; this is permitted under privacy law as it is essential to the service you have requested.
4. Changing your choice
You can change your cookie choice at any time by clearing the data Mapleentertain stored in your browser. On most desktop browsers:
- Open your browser's settings;
- Navigate to "Privacy" or "Site settings";
- Find "Mapleentertain.com" and click "Clear data" or "Forget this site".
Clearing this data will reset your game progress and bring back the age-gate and cookie banner on your next visit.
5. Mobile and private browsing
If you use a private/incognito tab, your browser typically deletes all stored data when the tab is closed. You will see the age-gate and cookie banner each time, and game progress will not persist between sessions.
6. Children
Mapleentertain is restricted to users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect or store data of anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has accessed the Platform, please contact us at support@Mapleentertain.com.
7. Your rights
Because we don't transmit data to our servers, there is generally nothing to delete on our side. If you contact us directly (e.g. via the contact form), we keep your message to reply to you and you can ask us at any time to:
- Confirm what data we hold about you;
- Receive a copy of that data;
- Correct or update inaccurate data;
- Delete your data, subject to our legal obligations.
8. Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Continued use of Mapleentertain after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
